I had never done a Seattle Boat Wedding before, but I would do it a thousand times over again. Meggie and Garrett wanted an intimate boat wedding with a Seattle skyline backdrop, so they booked Anchor Bay Charters for the perfect setting.

What made this so special was the fact that they were surrounded so closely by their family and friends. Meggie’s dad then stood up to give a speech during the ceremony and shared memories that he had saved from when Meggie was a little girl. It was at that time that everyone (including myself) lost it and started crying. Afterward, they had dinner and their reception at ESR Cellar connected to Staple & Fancy in Ballard.

I can’t believe how fortunate I was to witness such a beautiful and emotional ceremony. Enjoy these photos. And can we talk about how both Meggie and Garrett look as if they stepped out of a 1940’s film?
